After working for many renowned brands, he and Victoria – his wife and business partner – identified a need for a high-quality grooming service in Dublin. Together they created Men’s Grooming Ireland.

Creative Director

Andrew is the founder of Men’s Grooming Ireland and has designed all of our signature treatments. He’s worked all over the world, providing grooming to an exclusive client list of British, Irish and Italian society.

Born into a hairdressing family and immersed into the industry from an early age, Andrew has a unique skill-set in both barbering and hairdressing. It is these traditional skills that underpin the contemporary styles and services he offers.

Andrew has worked with all of the best international barbers, including London’s legendary Savile Row barbershop to the royals and aristocracy.

He brings his unique expertise and service to his barbershop in Dublin, transforming a haircut or shave into an exceptional experience.

In addition, Andrew is passionate about teaching. He offers professional training for junior barbers and hairdressers in the art of shaving, grooming and hair cutting.

Top Stylist

Background: I’ve worked in Russia, Italy and Ireland, most recently for six years
at Brown’s Barbers in Brown Thomas, Dublin.

What’s your barbering USP?: I’m great at scissor cuts which is perfect for men
who prefer slightly longer hairstyles. I can look after all my client’s colouring
needs – from covering greys to more modern looks. I also offer hot towel shaves
with fantastic head massages.

Why do your clients come back to you? I have lots of clients that have been
with me for many years. I’m very good at building relationships, judging how
much chat each individual likes and my long-term clients are like family to me.

Who’s your style icon?: Ryan Gosling. I admire his looks and his style and the
way he inspires other men to copy him.

Expert Barber

Background: Darragh has worked with us from the start, embracing the opportunity to be mentored by Andrew.

What’s your barbering USP? I love to create styles with slick-back side parts on top and mid-skin fade at the sides. It always looks elegantly cool.

Why do your clients like you? I’m really good at giving advice to my clients. I listen carefully and I always give them exactly the style they want.

Who is your style icon? I love David Beckham – his style has matured with him.

Expert Barber

BackgroundI’ve been working with hair for 34 years and I’m still refining my skills.

What’s your barbering USP? Mixing the old with the new; I like to combine classic scissor cuts with a modern twist.

Why do your clients like you? They like my skill and my conversation! I know how to really look after my clients from consultation to finish and I’m careful to find out what they need, what their style is and what suits them best.

Who is your style icon? Cary Grant – the epitome of style!

Expert Barber

Background: Originally from Iraq, Ameen has lived in Dublin since he was 12 and has been working as a barber for 5 years.

What’s your barbering USP? I love skin fades and keeping up with the latest trends and styles.

Why do your clients like you? I really listen to what my clients want and I’m good at suggesting ways to change or update their hairstyles.

Who is your style icon? I’ve no one person but I admire the style of many modern footballers.

Background: I’ve been working in the construction industry but always wanted
to become a barber and am following my dream now.

What will be your barbering USP?: At the moment, I’m loving the trend for
fades. If I can master those, I’ll be a happy man.

Why do clients like you? I’m good with people, really enthusiastic and friendly
and always have a big smile on my face.

Who’s your style icon?: Tom Hardy. He’s a style chameleon – he can pull of any
look, whether he’s dressed to impress on the red carpet or rough and ready in a
tracksuit.
